“ First time trying Nepali foods. We ordered the Fish Pakora, Shanghai Noodles, and Chicken Momo. All were very good, especially with all the sauces. Although most of the foods label with single or double spicy, but our server told us dishes are also available in non-spice, which we found was acceptable. ”

“ We heard good reviews about this restaurant and were surprised with the amazing garden with a pond at the entrance. The food was delicious and we had exceptional fine dining experience. Everything we ordered was great esp. the momos, fish pakoras and goat curry paired with red wine. Everything was so good we forgot to take pictures of the food. The owner and chef came to check with us and made sure we were taken care of since we had a big party. Highly recommend and would visit if we are in the area! ”

“ Had a wonderful dinner here! The environment was very peaceful and relaxing, and the hospitality was truly humble and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious—I especially loved the veggie burger and the Paneer Korma, both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. “ Wow! My besties & I LOVED this place & were so happy to have tried it out today, for the first time! It is safe to say we will ALL be back!! The food was amazing & the service the same!! The atmosphere looks fancy (it’s set up so nicely!), but yet you feel like you can be ‘yourself’! (What a great place to keep in mind for events!!) What we had: butter chicken (soo delicious, and the side salad so super cute & tasty too!), veg momos, coconut shrimp, honey garlic chicken bites (not your typical ‘honey garlic’.. by that I mean even BETTER! ), Gurkha Masala tea & even specialty, refreshing, citrus cocktails! From start to finish.. delicious & addicting. :) & it was also nice to find out they offer Canadian food on the menu as well, for anyone who might feel like that at the time, instead! Thank you Gurkha Lounge, for showing us yet another hidden gem in Chatham Ontario!! (Ps - below, where it asks how much we spent per person, I selected $20-30. This was with one appetizer, one full meal, and a drink; which I feel is very reasonable for that amount of food (+ having leftovers lol).. and was deliciously worth every penny! ) ”

“ What a hidden gem! Great food, great staff. Reasonably price. Unique food that I have not had the pleasure of trying anywhere else. I highly recommend trying food with a Nepalese flair. The Momos are great and although we a Only got to enjoy 2 main dishes, I would gladly go back to try more. ”

“ The reviews are correct, this is such a gem for Chatham!! The food and service was absolutely incredible. Hands down my favourite restaurant in the area. We had chicken momo’s, sweet potato wedges, butter chicken, goat stew and dessert. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to be back ”

With so many tempting options, it was hard to choose, but we were thoroughly satisfied with our meal. The portions were generous, and the flavors were outstanding. Owner Subhana provided exceptional service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It was a pleasure to hear her story about how she and her husband ended up in Chatham-Kent. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend! ”
